How Photo2Calendar Works

Photo2Calendar turns any image into a structured calendar event in seconds. The process is tuned for everyday scenarios like snapping school flyers, screenshotting group chats, or capturing business meeting boards.

Why this process works well

The app is easier to use because it keeps the process short and gives you a chance to review the result before anything is added to your calendar.

Easy to explain

You can show someone the process in under a minute: pick an image, review the details, and save the event.

Easy to trust

The review step keeps people comfortable because they can correct anything before the event is saved.

Easy to repeat

Once you use it for one flyer or screenshot, it is simple to do the same thing with the next one.

Three simple steps

From the first photo to the final export, the process is built to be quicker than typing the event details yourself.

Step 1: Capture or Upload

Open the built-in camera to snap a flyer, planner, or handwritten note, or upload a saved screenshot. Edge detection and exposure presets help align the image even in low light so the AI can read every detail.

Step 2: Check what the app found

Photo2Calendar reads the image and pulls out titles, dates, times, locations, URLs, and notes. Clear handwriting is supported too, so coaches’ or teachers’ whiteboard notes are easier to save.

Step 3: Review & Export

You receive an event card to approve. Make quick edits, then export a standard .ICS file that drops into Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Outlook, or any other calendar that supports the iCalendar standard.

Reliable AI Recognition

The app maps dates, times, and locations into the right fields, while extra details go into the event description. If something looks off, you can fix it before saving.

Apple’s latest iOS releases add a "Add to Calendar" suggestion for screenshots, butApple Visual Intelligence still requires manual verification for multi-event schedules. Photo2Calendar goes further by capturing every detail you need—location, notes, attachments—and bundling them into a universal iCalendar (.ICS) file.

Secure Handling

Photos are encrypted in transit, processed on secure servers, and deleted after conversion. No data is stored long term, and nothing is shared with advertising networks.
